Florida 2027 Silver plans — illustrative after-subsidy costs by county

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) published its 2027 individual-market tables on October 16, 2026. The table below compares illustrative monthly household costs after the federal subsidy for an average Silver plan, sorted by the largest percentage increase in net cost.

These percentages are changes in after-subsidy costs, not full-premium rate increases or your renewal rate. A household's share can rise much faster than the full premium when the subsidy does not keep pace. For example, Lafayette's illustrated family cost rises from $809 to $1,541 per month (+90.5%), while the full premium rises from $3,349 to $4,096 (+22.3%). In Manatee, the illustrated after-subsidy cost rises 29.0%, versus 8.8% for the full premium.

Not a like-for-like household or policy comparison: OIR uses different annual incomes in each year's examples: $85,000 in 2026 versus $87,000 in 2027 for a family of four (two adults age 40 and two children age 10), and $35,000 versus $36,000 for a single individual. These are county market averages, not a quote for the same plan or a prediction of what an individual household will pay.
